Obacchi Hair Salon is dedicated to using organic products that enhance both your outer and inner health.
Our organic color is made from flower and plant oils and is completely ammonia free. With only a trace amount of chemicals, it’s one of the most ecological products available. Using our organic color will not only be significantly kinder to your scalp, it will also leave your hair less damaged, making it shinier, softer, snd easier to style. The best part of our organic color is the finished product itself: our grey coverage color blends beautifully with incoming roots and our organic bleach makes natural looking lo-tone highlights.

Satsuki
A colorist Satsuki Obata worked in Osaka, Japan for 11 years as a stylist before her enthusiasm for hair coloring brought her to New York in 2007. In New York, Satsuki worked 2 years with a celebrity colorist and also at Ueno (currently Tsumiki) salon, where her clients affectionately nicknamed her Obacchi.
Hiro
Hiro is an expert in edgy hair design. With a gift for working with all hair types including curly hair, Hiro really shines in her cuts and colors: using organic hair color for dyes.
A native of Japan, Hiro is a graduate of Tokyo’s esteemed Yamano Beauty College, where she studied hair cutting, dyeing techniques and styling.
A love of art and city life brought Hiro to New York City in 2008. Since then, she has worked in high end New York City salons such a Frederic Fekkai, Red Door Salon, and Tsumiki salon, and is now joining the team at Obacchi Salon where she is excited to bring her skill and expertise to the chair!
